Confirm you're a real person to earn the Verified seal — a trust signal buyers look for. All it takes is a photo of your government ID and a quick live selfie, and your documents stay encrypted and private.

Identity verification is how Gigolance confirms that the person behind an account is real. Pass it once and a Verified seal appears next to your name across the marketplace — the same trust signal buyers instinctively look for before they hire.

It's optional, quick, and private. You submit a photo of a government ID and a short live selfie, our checks compare the two, and — if they match — the seal is added automatically. Your documents are encrypted and never shared.

What you'll need

  • A government-issued photo ID — a passport, national ID card, or driver's license. See the accepted documents guide.
  • A phone or webcam to take your live selfie — a real-time capture, not an uploaded photo.
  • Good lighting and a couple of minutes. Most verifications finish in seconds; some are reviewed by our team within a day.

    Open Verify identity from your account and choose your document type.

    Photograph your ID

    Capture a clear, well-lit photo of your ID with all four corners visible and every detail legible.

    Take a live selfie

    Follow the on-screen prompts for a short live capture — this confirms a real person is present, not a photo of a photo.

    Get your seal

    Our checks match your selfie to your ID. When they pass, the Verified seal is added to your account automatically and you're notified by email.

One verification, one identity

Verification is a single per-person fact: once you're verified, the seal follows you whether you're buying or selling. You never need to verify twice.
