What is Gigolance?
Gigolance is a freelance services marketplace operated by Sustainable Transport Advisory Pty Ltd in Newport, Australia. Sellers publish gigs: fixed-scope service packages in up to three tiers, each with its own price, deliverables and delivery time. Buyers browse, chat, request custom offers and pay for the tier they want. The payment is held in escrow by the platform's own ledger and is released to the seller only when the buyer accepts the delivery, or when the review window passes without a response. If an order is cancelled, the escrowed amount returns to the buyer's available balance immediately. Sellers pay one platform fee per order, charged when funds are released: 18% on a new buyer relationship, falling to 10% as lifetime revenue with that buyer grows. Released earnings clear in 14 days, or 7 days for Top Rated sellers, before they can be withdrawn. Disputes go through the Resolution Center, which can refund, split or release the escrow. Sellers progress through levels by delivered performance, never by paying.

Marketplace payments are protected by escrow in our own ledger; card payments and Gigolance Plus subscriptions are processed by our payment processor, Stripe, which handles secure checkout, card processing, and applicable sales taxes.
