Understanding your earnings and balances
Available, Pending Clearance, In Escrow, Tips, Withdrawn — what each balance means, how money moves between them, and exactly when you get paid.
7 min read
On Gigolance your money isn't one number — it's a set of separated balances that each tell a different part of the story. Once you know what they mean, your Earnings page reads like a clear timeline of every dollar from the moment a buyer pays to the moment it lands in your bank.

Every figure on your earnings page is computed from the platform's double-entry ledger — the same record that protects both sides of every order. Nothing is estimated and nothing is editable; the balances simply reflect where your money truly is, in real time.
The five balances that matter
In Escrow
Money a buyer has paid for an order that's still in progress. It's held securely and shown as your NET (after the platform fee) — what you'll receive when the order completes.
Pending Clearance
Earnings from completed orders that are maturing through the clearing window before they're withdrawable. They're yours — just not quite ready to move.
Available
Cleared funds you can withdraw right now. This is the headline balance on your dashboard pill.
Tips Earned
Gratuities buyers have added on top of orders, tracked separately so you can see appreciation at a glance. Tips clear like earnings.
Withdrawn
The lifetime total you've successfully paid out to your bank or payout method.
You may also see Refunded and Disputed lines: money returned to a buyer, and funds temporarily locked while a dispute is open. Both are rare and both are shown plainly so there are never any surprises.
How money moves, step by step
- 1
Buyer pays → In Escrow
When an order starts, the buyer's payment is funded into escrow. It's secured by the ledger and counts toward your In Escrow balance (shown net of the platform fee).
- 2
Order completes → Pending Clearance
When the buyer accepts the delivery, your net earnings are released from escrow into Pending Clearance, and a clearing countdown begins.
- 3
Clearing window passes → Available
After the clearing window for your level, the funds mature automatically into Available, where they're ready to withdraw.
- 4
You withdraw → Withdrawn
Request a payout and the amount leaves Available and, once settled, is recorded in your lifetime Withdrawn total.
Your net, not the gross
The platform fee is taken when an order is released, so every earnings figure you see is already net — the amount that's actually yours. The fee itself depends on your relationship with the buyer; see How platform fees work.
When exactly do I get paid?
Completed earnings don't go straight to Available — they sit in Pending Clearance for a safety window first, so everything settles before funds become withdrawable. That window shortens as your seller level rises:
- New Seller / Level 1 → 14 days.
- Level 2 → 10 days.
- Top Rated / Top Rated Plus → 7 days (see Faster Payments).
- Need a single order sooner? Early Payout advances one completed order instantly for a small fee.
Reading your activity
The activity table on your earnings page lists every movement — earnings, additional charges, tips, refunds, and withdrawals — each with its date, the order it relates to, and its clearing status. You can filter by type and date range, and export a statement for your records under Financial documents.
Everything reconciles
Because each line comes from the ledger, your balances always add up: gross paid by buyers, minus fees and refunds, equals exactly what's in escrow, clearing, available, and withdrawn combined. If a number looks off, it's real data — never a display guess.
Frequently asked
Because they answer different questions: what's still being worked on (In Escrow), what's maturing (Pending Clearance), what you can take now (Available), and what you've already taken (Withdrawn). One blended 'earnings' figure would hide all of that.
After. Every earnings balance is your net — the platform fee is already deducted at release. The fee depends on your buyer relationship; see How platform fees work.
Not directly — it has to mature to Available first. But you can use Early Payout to advance a single completed order instantly for a fee.
Yes. Tips go through the same clearing window and then become available, tracked under Tips Earned so you can see them separately.
