How platform fees work

Your platform fee drops the more you earn with the same buyer — from 18% on a new relationship down to 10% for your most loyal clients.

3 min read

Gigolance charges one clear platform fee on each order — and it gets cheaper the more you earn with the same buyer. Repeat business is rewarded automatically; there's nothing to apply for.

How your fee is decided

Your fee is based on your lifetime earnings with that specific buyer — the running total of every completed order you've done together. As that total grows, the relationship moves into a cheaper fee tier, so loyal clients cost you less in commission.

Per relationship

The fee is worked out separately for each buyer — a brand-new client and a long-term one can have different rates at the very same time.

Rewards loyalty

Every completed order adds to your lifetime revenue with that buyer, nudging the relationship toward the next, lower tier.

Automatic

Nothing to switch on. The right tier is applied the moment an order's payment is released to you.

The fee tiers

Your fee steps down as your lifetime revenue with a buyer crosses each threshold:

  • $0 – $499 together → 18% — a new relationship.
  • $500 – $1,999 → 16% — a returning buyer.
  • $2,000 – $4,999 → 14%.
  • $5,000 – $9,999 → 12%.
  • $10,000+ → 10% — your most loyal clients, your lowest fee.

The Earnings page is always the source of truth

Your current tiers are shown live on your Earnings page, and every custom offer previews your exact net earnings before you send it. The percentages above are the standard schedule — if it ever changes, your Earnings page shows the live rates.

What you actually keep

Your net is simply the order total minus the platform fee for that relationship's tier. On a $300 order you'd keep $246 at 18%, and $270 at 10% — the same work, more in your pocket as the relationship grows.

Where you'll see it

  • Custom offers — a live net-earnings preview before you send.
  • Order page — each order shows buyer paid → platform fee (with its tier) → your earnings.
  • Earnings — the full tier schedule, plus the fee on every line of activity.

Frequently asked

No — it's per relationship. Your fee with a brand-new buyer (18%) can differ from your fee with a long-term client (as low as 10%) at the same time. Each is based on your lifetime earnings with that buyer.

An order's rate is set from your relationship total BEFORE that order. Once an order pushes you past a threshold, the NEXT order with that buyer gets the lower rate.

No — tips are gratuities, not order revenue, so they don't move your fee tier. Only completed orders count toward the lifetime total.

No. The platform fee is what the platform takes per order; the clearing window is how long earnings stay pending before you can withdraw — see Faster Payments.

No commission is taken on a cancelled order — it only applies when an order completes. But the buyer's service fee charged at checkout, and any tax, are non-refundable. Gigolance Pro sourcing is refunded under its money-back guarantee, minus that same non-refundable service fee. Full detail in the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
