Earning recurring income with Subscriptions

Turn a one-off gig into a retainer — a recurring custom offer that auto-generates a fresh order every cycle.

4 min read

Subscriptions let a happy buyer commit to ongoing work, so income arrives on a predictable schedule instead of one order at a time.

A subscription is a special kind of custom offer. When a buyer accepts it, the first cycle becomes a live order immediately. After that, Gigolance automatically creates a new order for you on the cycle you chose — monthly, for example — without either side lifting a finger.

Why sellers love subscriptions

Predictable income

Each cycle bills on schedule, so you can forecast earnings instead of chasing the next order.

Retained clients

A subscriber stays with you cycle after cycle — far less time spent winning new buyers.

Zero re-quoting

Scope and price are agreed once. Every new cycle starts as a ready-to-work order automatically.

Setting one up

  1. 1

    Open a custom offer

From your chat with the buyer, start a custom offer and choose the subscription kind.

  2. 2

    Define the cycle

Set the deliverable, the price per cycle, and the interval (such as monthly). This is the scope you'll repeat each time.

  3. 3

    Send it for acceptance

The buyer reviews and accepts. The first cycle converts to an order on the spot so work can begin.

  4. 4

    Let Gigolance handle the rest

On each interval, a new order is generated automatically. You deliver, the buyer approves, and the next cycle is already on its way.

Packaging a subscription that sells

  • Pick work that genuinely repeats — monthly content batches, ongoing maintenance, or recurring design updates.
  • Keep the per-cycle scope tight and consistent so delivery is fast every time.
  • Price for the relationship, not a single order — a small per-cycle discount can make a long commitment easy to say yes to.
  • Be clear about what one cycle includes, so expectations stay aligned month after month.

Buyers stay in control

Subscriptions are available from Level 1 and up. A buyer can cancel between cycles, so keep each delivery strong to keep them subscribed.
