Understanding the Gigolance freelancer levels

Your level reflects your track record on Gigolance. The higher your level, the more buyers trust you, the further your Gigs reach, and the more tools you unlock. Here's exactly how it works.

Every freelancer on Gigolance has a level. It's earned, not bought — it's a straightforward summary of how well you serve buyers, measured against six performance metrics over time. As your track record grows, you climb from New Seller to Level 1, Level 2, and ultimately Top Rated.

Buyers only ever see your level — the badge on your profile and Gigs. The detailed metrics behind it, including your Success Score, are private to you and live on your Level overview.

The four levels

New Seller

Where everyone starts. You unlock the core selling tools right away — publish Gigs, send custom offers, and start building the track record that powers everything below.

Level 1

Your first earned level. It signals to buyers that you've delivered consistently and unlocks more Gig extras and a higher daily order limit.

Level 2

Proven, repeat-worthy delivery at scale. Level 2 widens your reach in search and unlocks the bulk of Gigolance's growth tooling.

Top Rated

Our highest level — reserved for sellers with an outstanding, sustained record. Top Rated earns a premium badge, priority support, and the broadest visibility. Reaching it includes an additional manual review.

The six performance metrics

Your level is determined by these six metrics. To qualify for — and keep — a level, you need to meet its threshold on every one of them.

Success Score

A composite 1–10 score for each Gig across the whole order journey — clarity, delivery, communication, and outcomes. It's the single biggest signal of quality and is visible only to you.

Rating

Your average review rating from buyers over the evaluation window. Honest, on-time, well-communicated orders keep this high.

Response rate

The share of new buyer messages you reply to within 24 hours. Fast, reliable replies build trust and protect this metric.

Orders completed

The total number of orders you've delivered and had accepted. Volume shows you can deliver dependably over time.

Unique clients

How many distinct buyers you've served. A range of clients proves your service travels beyond a single repeat customer.

Earnings

Your total lifetime cleared earnings on Gigolance. It reflects the real value you've delivered to buyers.

No active warnings. On top of the six metrics, your account must be in good standing — with no active Terms of Service warnings — to qualify for or hold any level.

How evaluations work

Ongoing evaluations

As long as you have active Gigs, Gigolance evaluates all six metrics continuously — refreshed daily. There's no waiting for a monthly cut-off: your standing reflects your most recent performance.

Moving up

Once you meet the requirement on all six metrics for the next level, you become eligible to move up — usually by the next day. Reaching Top Rated includes one additional manual review to confirm an outstanding, sustained record.

Moving down

If one of your top metrics — your Success Score or rating — drops below the level you need to maintain, you enter a 30-day grace period. Use it to recover. If your stats are back above the threshold by the end of it, you keep your level; if not, you move to the level your metrics currently support. Dropping a level is never a penalty — it's simply a reflection of recent performance, and you can climb straight back.

Stay on track

The fastest way to level up is consistency: communicate clearly, deliver on time, set realistic scope, and keep your response rate high. Watch your six metrics on your Level overview and tackle whichever is furthest from the next threshold.
