Showcasing your top clients
Feature the brands and clients you've worked with on your profile to signal credibility the moment a buyer lands.
3 min read
A recognizable name on your profile borrows trust you've already earned.
Top clients lets you display the brands and companies you've worked with as a row of logos or names on your profile. When a buyer sees that others — especially names they know — have trusted you, their own decision feels safer and faster.
It works hand in hand with your portfolio: the portfolio shows the work, and your top clients show who that work was good enough for.
What it signals
Social proof
A buyer reasons that if established brands trusted you, they can too — credibility by association.
Lower perceived risk
Recognizable clients reassure first-time buyers that you deliver real, professional results.
Premium positioning
Working with serious clients frames you as a serious freelancer — and supports premium pricing.
Instant differentiation
Most profiles can't show this. A strong client roster sets you apart at a glance.
How to add a client
- 1
Confirm you can show them
Make sure you genuinely worked with the client and that featuring them doesn't break any confidentiality you agreed to.
- 2
Add the brand
From your dashboard, open the Top clients section and add the client's name or logo.
- 3
Choose your best few
Feature the most recognizable or relevant names — a short, strong list reads better than a long, generic one.
- 4
Keep it current
Refresh the list as you take on new notable clients so it always reflects your best recent work.
Only feature clients you truly worked with
Never list a brand you haven't genuinely done work for, and respect any confidentiality agreement. If a client expects privacy, get their permission before showing their name — honesty here protects the trust the perk is built on.
Choosing which to feature
- Lead with recognition. Names buyers know carry the most weight — put them first.
- Favor relevance. Clients in the same field as your gigs prove you understand that buyer's world.
- Quality over quantity. A few strong, real names beat a long list padded with minor ones.
Frequently asked
If the engagement was public or non-confidential, you can usually list them. If you signed an NDA or the client expects privacy, get their okay first.
Any individual, company, or brand you genuinely completed work for. Aspirational or unworked-with brands don't qualify and can erode buyer trust.
Enough to establish credibility without padding — a focused set of your most recognizable, relevant names works best.
Indirectly. A more credible, complete profile tends to convert and retain buyers better, which feeds the positive signals our intelligence engine reads.
